Self-Discipline Is the Key to Freedom

If you have been to bet how commonly the average character tries earlier than giving up, what would be your bet? 1, 2, or 3 times? The majority of people surrender before they even attempt. They spend so much time intention setting and preparing, that they forget the most critical a part of the plan: discipline. The biggest false impression approximately field is it's far something you have. Actually, the area is something you do. In your commercial enterprise, discipline is shedding habits that preserve your commercial enterprises returned, such as immoderate time on social media and fact television; and constructing up behavior that carries you towards success, including private development, prospecting, and income. Strengthening your self-discipline can be in comparison to building up a robust accept as true with the fund for your future. How some distance are you willing to head to accumulate that agree with the fund? Self-Discipline is a Skill Self-Discipline is not a

Tanya Burr Cosmetics: Selfie Lash

Image
Hello Everyone, So this is a bit of a last minute post and a surprise post because today I was lucky enough to come home to one of Tanya Burrs new products: Selfie Lash. I entered the competition, without even thinking I would win and it honestly made my day! I just had to try out the mascara and I thought why not give your guys my first impression? As you can see, the packaging to this mascara is beautiful. It is a lovely gold colour with black 'swirly', italic kind of font  (I don't know what it is called haha). The mascara actually feels quite heavy as opposed to cheap/plastic packaging. I don't actually know the price but from what I see and feel, this product feels great quality. I think the packaging is very different to any of Tanya's other ranges- but definitely in a good way. The actual brush is a hard brush and it is quite flexible. For me, this is the perfect brush. It makes the mascara really easy to precisely apply, avoiding any smudges across your eyel

Revolution Palette Review: Flawless 3

Image
Hi everyone, Now seeing as autumn is here, I thought it was only right to share my current favourite "autumnal" eyeshadow look. I then realised that my favourite look wasn't just a simple look- it was the whole palette because seriously I am obsessed. I won't lie to you, I always doubted revolution. In terms of eyeshadow I often turned to Mac or Too Faced or Urban Decay and never really considered the more affordable brands. When I looked at this palette and saw it was only £8 I thought it was worth a try- and boy am I glad that I tried it. The colours, the pigmentation, the packaging- basically everything- about this palette is stunning. LOOK AT IT: The Rose Gold packaging drew me to this palette, its beautiful. Although, it does get rather dirty which is a little irritating. But we can get over that, right? Now the actual colours: Seriously, what other colours do you need? Mattes, shimmers, highlights, its got it all.The colours go from everyday wear to a smoky eye.

Tanya Burr Beauty: my thoughts

Image
Hello everyone, I am back with another beauty post, I just love writing about beauty and makeup so much, but if you would prefer some more lifestyle posts do let me know on my twitter (@_ellabellax). Today I am going to be talking about Tanya Burr's beauty range, although I do not have everything in the range, I do have a few items of which I am in love with, so I thought it would only be right to share it with you guys. Ok so before I do anything I feel like I need to say how flipping amazing Tanya is. Her makeup always looks incredible which is why when she said she was creating a beauty range (a while back now haha) I was absolutely buzzing. I was excited to be able to do my makeup using products that I knew Tanya had created (and obviously rated oversize she wouldn't have made them haha). I feel like I also need to mention how affordable  Tanya's range is, because seriously the prices are incredible for what you get. Starting off with one of the 'original' eye s

Ultimate Glow- High End Illuminator Dupe

Image
Hello everyone, I am back here today with another High End vs High Street post. This time I am comparing two different highlight-blusher in one products (shimmer bricks). Personally, after waking up at 6am the last thing I want to be doing is spending a long time on my makeup. Which is why when I see one product that does two things- I get quite excited, glow and rosy-ness? Yes Please! I am all about that fresh and glowy kind of look, to be honest I think everyone is at the moment. However often I find myself staring at a hefty price tag thinking should I/shouldn't I, often I end up buying the product, and then finding a very similar product for less than 1/4 of the price in a local drugstore like Superdrug. Although I don't necessarily regret my high end purchases because they will be used and loved, however in future I want to ensure that I get info on all the dupes available because really, who doesn't want to save some money? Now let me just start of with saying the pri

The Perfect Day Out

Image
Hello everyone, I hope you have all had the most amazing summer, although mine has been lovely I am secretly buzzing for chilly starts and cosy days (maybe I will think differently when i'm walking to school in the cold). Now if you are not into lifestyle posts then this post may not for you. But my next post may well be! I thought I would share with you one of the best days of my summer. My family and I went to a farm which was full of adventures. There was a woodland trail, a lake with ducks, a winnie the pooh 100 acre wood and not forgetting the actual farm which ranged from rabbits to alpakas- it was incredible. Here are some photos for you to enjoy:  (please excuse the incorrect date, I will update my camera) Clearly I think i'm tumblr  Sheep that I got scared of and ran away haha typical me  The 100 aker wood  Again one's niece being adorable next to the bee tree The Swan that tried to chase us... again ended up running away and screaming  (see the pattern) I don'

Here's why you should plan

Image
Hello everyone, Here I have quite a different post for you, all about something I absolutely love doing- planning. Yes, spontaneity is needed too but to have that basic elements of your life planned out can be so refreshing and declutrring. Seriously it's so satisfying to set goals and tick things off your to do list and to have s physical reminder of all the things that NEED to be done. Planning isn't for everyone, but after trying it out it is definitely for me. I have my everyday diary style planner which is the one I am going to show you. However I also have a "Happy Planner" which is like a sticker diary/ scrapbook- much more fun and more for memories! So here is my current diary planner which was from T.K maxx, so affordable and such a wide variety of planners. The layout is perfect, for every month there is the typical box calendar layout, a quick and easy overview of everything you have planned and important dates. Even if you didn't want to write on this

High Street vs High End- which concealer is better?

Image
Hello everyone, Now, being a very tired girl I need my concealer in the mornings to brighten up my face and hide the bag under my eyes. I am quite fussy when it comes to concelears, but my all time favourite has to be the "Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer". I just find it so light and easy to blend however the coverage is actually insane. My under eyes go from dull and dark to looking awake and bright. Although compared to some concealers this Urban Decay one is pretty reasonable (£19), it is still quite pricey for just one product, which is why I have been on the hunt for a drug store dupe. The other day I went into Superdrug and I saw an updated version of the "L'Oreal True Match The One Concealer". For some reason it just reminded me of the Naked Concealer when I swatched the tester, so I picked it up for just £7.99. The colour range was amazing with both rose tinted and yellow tinted options available, going from pale to dark. Seeing as I have pale skin I pi
